U-8, U-9, U-10 & U-11 -  RECREATIONAL - SMALL-SIDED GAME       $185

As mandated by the Washington State Youth Soccer Association (WSYSA), all EYSA U-8, U-9, U-10 and U-11 teams will play in the small-sided game format. U-8 plays 4 v 4 with a maximum team size of 8 players; U-9 plays 5 v 5 with a maximum team size of 9 players; U-10 plays 6 v 6 with a maximum team size of 10 players and U-11 plays 9 v 9 with a maximum team size of 14 players. All levels play on appropriately sized fields. The small player numbers allow the children to develop the necessary motor skills for soccer. The new rules give more “touches” of the ball to all players, which adds to the fun, skill development and team play. Teams will practice once per week; with games held on Saturdays on Mercer Island and the Eastside.
