Micro Soccer - For our youngest soccer playerstypically in Kindergarten or First Grade.
Mod Soccer - This program is small sided soccer for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.
Recreational Soccer - This program is 11 a side soccer and covers 6th through 12th grade.
Club Select - MIFC : The mission of the Mercer Island Youth Soccer Club’s Select soccer program, known as Mercer Island Football Club (MIFC), is to provide an opportunity primarily for Mercer Island soccer players to play at the highest level of soccer within the local community while maintaining balance between school, family life and other sports. The level of play in Club Select typically falls somewhere between recreational and premier soccer. MIFC’s program is designed for the player seeking a high level of competition; without the greater time and financial commitments of premier soccer. MIFC currently fields teams from U12 through U18. Tryouts are held each spring.

Clinics and Training Opportunities
Winter Soccer - This is an eight week program on Friday evenings in January and February for players to come scrimmage in a pick-up style game and continue to work on skills with our professional trainers. It is run by the International Academy of Soccer and is open to all players that played in the fall season.
Spring Player Development Program - This program is designed to provide soccer training and skill development beyond the Recreational program. It is open to highly motivated and committed players who qualified for Mercer Island U10 & older in last fall season. It runs from April to mid May and is led by professionals from the International Academy of Soccer. While it is not a "select" program, it is expected that each player will be serious and committed to developing his/her skills. Disruptive or non-interested players will be asked to sit out so as not to detract from the experience of the more dedicated participants. Players are expected to be on time and ready to start at each session wearing proper soccer attire, including shin guards, and bring their own ball. This program is designed as a drop in program for players to come to as many training sessions as they can as it fits into their spring schedule.
Get Ready For Select Clinic - This clinic is designed for serious players interested in trying out for Premier or Select level teams. It is held by the International Academy of Soccer and will run through drills the players should be familiar and comfortable with, offer suggestions on individual skills that need to be polished or perfected, and give pointers on what the evaluators will be looking for. This program is combined ith the Player Development Program this year.
Summer Player Development Program - This is a drop-in clinic designed for players that are seriously interested in skill development. It provides six weeks of soccer training, focused on fundamental skills, leading toward advanced techniques as the player develops. The schedule is designed to allow flexibility for players to participate in other summer activities and vacations. It will be led by an IAS Trainer and High School volunteers. It is only available to players who are U-10 and above. It will be help July 5th - Aug. 13th. Time/Location to be announced closer to summer.
Sunday With The Pro Clinics - Every Sunday one of the licensed professional trainers from the International Academy of Soccer runs a free clinic for any of our players and coaches registered to one of our teams. It is intended for kids interested in learning skills and improving their play and coaches wanting to improve their training techniques.
Summer Boot Camp - This program is run as (2) one week soccer camps desgined to help players build their fundamental soccer skills for the upcoming fall season. An IAS Trainer will lead the program with high school volunteers. It will be held the week of August 2nd & 9th, Monday - Thursday from 9:00 - 12:00pm. It is only available to players who are Fall 2010 U-8 and above.
